Who We Are

“The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”

Genesis 2:15 (NIV)

Guided by a profound Christian faith, Frankie Stover is driven by the belief that we have been entrusted with the care of this Earth, charged with the responsibility to steward and preserve the well-being of every living creature that inhabits it.

Currently residing in Durham, North Carolina, Frankie is a senior at Durham Academy. She plans to attend university in the fall of 2024 with a major in Environmental and Religious studies. Frankie’s mission is clear: she wants to encourage Christians (and everyone!) across the world to care about the vitality of our world.

Beyond her commitment to environmental stewardship, Frankie is a passionate do-gooder, pouring her time and energy into initiatives like Plant-a-Pitstop. She spent her 9th and 11th grade summers traveling overseas for habitat restoration and animal care. In 9th grade, she traveled to Costa Rica to volunteer at an animal rescue center. More recently, she traveled to the Galapagos Islands where she volunteered her time restoring the habitats of tortoises. Upon her arrival at home, she wrote a paper about the dangers of the landscaping industry and was awarded the “Global Leadership Adventures Environmental Steward Honors Fellow” title.

When Frankie’s not pursuing her dedication to sustainability, she can be found doing aerial dance, serving in Church and her town, studying, reading, or spending quality time with her friends and family.
